A short synopsis of what I do and why I love to do it.

Born and raised in Upland, California I grew up playing baseball, going to church, surfing, and rock climbing with my three brothers. I developed a passion for photography through the activities I was involved in. I specifically remember an early morning surfing with my friends. Paddling out, seeing the early golden sunlight shine through the winter spray behind the waves. I thought to myself “I wish everyone could see this.”. The passion for photography was born.

Since then, with the help of many special people, I have continued to learn photography, videography, editing, and many other forms of art that come with the territory. People have come to play a central role in my art. The beauty that God created is all around us but at the very center of that beauty are the people he created with all of their stories, quirks, and personalties. It is with this reality in mind that I passionately chase the sunsets in the desert, the ocean spray of morning surf, and the stories of heartfelt moments and beautiful people.

My very own family started…

after i took a trip to Papua New Guinea. My church had sent me with a construction team to capture the building of a house for one of our missionaries. We connected with a couple of very special missionaries who later decided to set me up with one of their long time family friends. Her name was Corey and she lived in Kentucky. We were both crazy enough to say yes to the idea of a 3 day visit here in California and shortly after began dating long distance. After getting married on October 4th, 2020, I have found her to be my biggest encouragement, my best friend, and my favorite person to photograph. We are both super extroverted and are always looking for new adventures and ready to make new friends.
